The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free “Essentials of College Planning” workshops for adults 19 and older.
The workshops will be held at Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St., at 9 a.m.; and Southern Midcoast- CareerCenter, 275 Bath Road, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Nov. 27.

Funded entirely by the U.S. Department of Education, the center placed 1,073 Maine adults in colleges last year, according to a news release.
