BATH — Fields for Our Future is holding a community awareness and fund-raising walkathon at McMann Field on Congress Street beginning at 12:30 Sunday, Oct. 14.
School teams, families and local businesses have formed teams to raise money, walk and have fun.
Food will be prepared by Mae’s Cafe and frozen treats provided by Dot’s Ice Cream. All proceeds from food and beverage sales go to the field program. Everyone in the community is invited.
Fields for Our Future is a citizen’s group raising money to install artificial turf at McMann Field, to increase usage from 200 to 2,000 hours per year.
