Mid-coast Audubon will explore the Green Point Wildlife Management Area in Dresden seeking sparrows and more on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Green Point also offers views of the Kennebec River for ducks and eagles. Rarities are also possible: An extremely rare Bell’s Vireo was there as recently as Oct. 8, Audubon officials said in a news release.
The trip departs Hannaford’s parking lot in Damariscotta at 7 a.m. Call 350-9137 for information.
