BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Former Brunswick High School cross country standout Will Geoghegan competed for Dartmouth College in the Paul Short Invitational Cross Country race on Saturday, finishing as the school’s top runner in the meet.
Geoghegan completed the course in 24:15, a personalbest, to take fifth in the Gold Division, averaging 4:51 per mile in the five-mile race.
The field consisted of 330 runners from many of the top cross country schools in the northeast. Geoghegan led Dartmouth to a fourth-place finish out of 37 teams, with Villanova University edging Georgetown for the win.
