ALNA — Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association will host a nature walk on the Bass Falls Preserve Saturday at 9 a.m., rain or shine.
The walk offers excellent fall birding along the edges of the field to the forest entrance of an enchanting trail, a news release said. The guide will be Lynne Flaccus, a naturalist and SVCA programs manager.
Weather and time will determine the length and scope of the walk. At most, it will encompass the newest preserve trail, which is 2.5 miles long and offers a moderate hike featuring fabulous views of the Sheepscot River.
To attend, meet at the parking lot on Route 218 just south of the Alna Store and Dock Road.
