UNITY (AP) — About 60,000 people are expected to attend the Common Ground Country Fair, which celebrates organic farming and Maine’s rural traditions.
The 36th annual fair, in Unity, opens today and runs through Sunday.
Sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, the fair features demonstrations, exhibits, organic and local foods, livestock exhibits and entertainment.
The gates open at 9 a.m. each day.
