BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Soccer Jamboree is scheduled to be held today at Brunswick High School from 3:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Brunswick girls soccer field will be the venue for an afternoon of matchups between all the various soccer organizations in town, leading up to the much anticipated boys varsity contest against Bangor.
All players wearing their various jerseys will be admitted free to the varsity event. This is a joint effort between Brunswick Soccer (girls), Seacoast Dragons (boys), Brunswick Junior High teams, and the Brunwick freshman girls, bringing all these players together on one site. Brunswick Recreation Department players will also be in attendance as ball girls and boys.
The schedule of events will be as follows:
* 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m, boys eighth-grade “Dragon Cup Challenge”, 6 vs. 6.
* 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Seacoast Dragon U12 Boys vs. BJHS seventh-grade boys.
* 5 p.m. to 6 p.m, Brunswick Soccer and BJHS eighthgrade girls vs. freshman girls.
These games are open to the public, however, parents will need to pay for entrance to the boys’ 6 p.m. kickoff event.
