The ceremony took place at Popham State Beach in Phippsburg, and was officiated by Justice of the Peace Connie Jo Mills.
The reception was held at the Captain Daniel Stone Inn in Brunswick.
Palmer, daughter of Orrin and Kathy Palmer of Topsham, is a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and Bay Path College, and is employed as a protective service advocate.
Hopwood, son of Walter and Nadine Hopwood, is a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School and New England Tech, and he is employed as a drafter.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple lives in Attleboro.
