WEST BATH — Compass Point Christian Academy received Model Status from Accelerated Christian Education for the third year.
This award indicates that the K-12 academy has achieved an excellent rating in curriculum, has an exceptional student grade-point average, has placed in the top three in regional competition, and has expanded electives through computer science.
The private school is still enrolling students for the fall semester, according to a news release from Principal Gayla Maguire, who noted that there is great excitement for this new school year with several degreed teachers, including a special education teacher, on board.
“We have never been more passionate about providing academic excellence with moral guidance using an individualized educational system,” she wrote.
Among the activities, students will participate in a science fair in November and regional and international competitions in the spring.
