NORRIDGEWOCK (AP) — U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud and New Balance manufacturing officials are planning to make the case to the U.S. trade representative for continuing current trade tariffs on imported sneakers.
Trade Representative Ron Kirk is joining Michaud today in touring a New Balance plant in Norridgewock, one of three communities in Maine with New Balance facilities.
Michaud calls it a “unique opportunity” for Kirk to hear directly from U.S. workers.
