BERWICK — The Hyde girls varsity soccer team began its preseason by playing in the Berwick Academy Jamboree on Saturday.
The Phoenix opened with a 1-0 loss to Tilton, but bounced back to post a 2-0 victory over Winchendon.
In the final contest, Hyde fell to host Berwick, 2-0, to finish the day with a 1-2 record.
In the win over Winchendon, Shannon Ward and Caroline Hammond each scored a goal for the Phoenix, while Katie Comeaux had 14 saves.
