TOPSHAM — Houghton White, M.D., Brunswick resident and author of “A Maine Prodigy: The Life and Adventures of Elsie Fellows White,” will be the second presenter in Pejepscot Historical Society’s Fall Speaker Series. The presentation titled “Skowhegan Diaries” is on Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., in Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.
White will be joined by Candace Kanes of the Maine Historical Society, who served as editor of “A Maine Prodigy.” Copies of Dr. White’s book will be for sale at the event; a book signing will follow the presentation.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome, according to a news release.
