HUNDREDS of people turned out Tuesday to get a glimpse of the newly constructed Woolwich Central School. The crowd packed the gymnasium to hear from local officials and see a multimedia presentation. Following the official ribbon cutting, the crowd was able to take tours of the three-story facility, which opens for classes on Tuesday. The school, part of Regional School Unit 1, accommodates students in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. According to the school website, www.woolwich.rsu1.org/, anyone who was unable to attend Tuesday’s ceremony but would like to tour the school, may do so on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m.
