Beautiful cars, music, food and other attractions are in the offing Sunday at the 18th annual Mid-Coast Auto Show.

The event, to be held at Tainter/Kelley Field on Congress Avenue, opens to the public at 10 a.m., with a charge of $3. Registration for show vehicles is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the fee is $10.

The Bath Parks and Recreation Department and the Bath Knights of Columbus are co-sponsoring the show. Proceeds go to K of C charities, and to Bath Parks and Recreation scholarships.

The Mid-Coast Auto Show typically attracts from 300 to 500 spectators.

“It’s a great event for a family,” said Karyn Garofoli, assistant director at Bath Parks and Rec. “If the weather is nice, we’ll have music all day, and it’s just a fun atmosphere.”

The show will feature antique cars, motorcycles and more. Three trophies will be awarded in each category.

In a nice twist that involves spectators, the public will vote on four titles. Car owners will vote for each other’s vehicles.

The awards ceremony will start at around 1:30 p.m., Garofoli said.

The awards are as follows:

Best of: 1920s to 1940s; 1950s; 1960s; 1970s; 1980s; 1990s; 2000s.
