Nomination papers became available Monday for various elected official positions that will open for terms expiring in 2012.
There are three positions opening on the Town Council, for an at large, District 1 and District 2 seat. Terms expiring belong to at large councilor Lori Pomerlow, District 1 councilor Mark Lunt and District 2 councilor Mike Bowie.
There are also three positions that will be available on the Budget Advisory Board — one at-large, one District 1 and one District 2 seat. The terms expiring belong to at large board member Don Fellows, District 1 board member John Eckhardt, and District 1 board member Dorothy Fitzgerald.
Also becoming available are two seats on the School Committee. The terms of Pete Reed and Kathi Yergin expire in 2012.
The Water Commission also has an opening, as the term of Stanley Doughty Jr., expires in 2012.
Nomination papers must be filed with Lisbon Town Clerk Twila Lycette by Monday, Sept. 21, by 4:30 p.m.
