ALNA — Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, 97 Cross Road, will host its annual picnic weekend Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The two days of events will include music, food and rides on a steam train, Model T railcar and handcar.
Regularly scheduled trains will run both days departing from Sheepscot Station on the hour.
Model T railcar rides will run five minutes behind regularly scheduled steam trains. Handcar rides will be in Sheepscot Yard.
Special “mixed” steam trains will depart at 6 p.m. on Saturday with a photo stop at Alna Center, and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with photo stops at both Alna Center and Albee’s field.
Music performers, Bitter Brew, will play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Lunch will be available both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Regular tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and members and $4 for children under 12. Children under 3 are free. For an extra $4, passengers may ride both the train and the Model T.
