BRUNSWICK — Gallery Framing, 12 Pleasant St., Brunswick, will feature “Katahdin to Cadillac: Scenes of Maine,” an exhibit of oils and watercolors by Frances Pratt Caswell all this month. There will be a reception on Aug. 10 during the Second Friday Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Caswell, a Brunswick native, captures the play of light on the Maine landscape. In the exhibition, are interpretations of Baxter State Park, Mt. Blue State Park, Moosehead Lake, and Acadia National Park. Following retirement from teaching at Southern Maine Technical College, now Southern Maine Community College, she studied at Maine College of Art and is active in Casco Bay Art League.
