AUGUSTA — Old Fort Western, 16 Cony St., in conjunction with the University of Maine at Augusta’s Senior College, will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the museum on Sunday, Aug. 12, from noon to 4 p.m.
Demonstrations of wood carving, barrel making and blacksmithing, as well as free food and music, will be available at the 1754 National Historic Landmark fort, store and house museum.
Old Fort Western historical interpreters will host re-enactors from the Goodwin Company and James Howard Company. Regular admission fees will be charged.
