BAR HARBOR (AP) — Former envoy and U.S. Senate majority leader George Mitchell is leading the list of participants in a public forum in Bar Harbor on housing issues.
Today’s conference at the College of the Atlantic is hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center Housing Commission and Jack Kemp Foundation.
It will feature Mitchell, a co-chair of BPC’s Housing Commission; Barbara Fields, the regional administrator of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other officials.
BPC is releasing new data showing the demographic trends impacting the housing landscape in Maine compared to the rest of the United States.
