YARMOUTH — The four international voice teachers of the 317 Main International Voice Seminar will present an evening of vocal pieces, ranging from jazz to classical Irish to selections from musical theater from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Higgins Hall, North Yarmouth Academy, 168 Main St.
Giuppi Paone (Italy), Elizabeth Goell (Ireland), and 317 instructors Kathy Slack and Julie Goell will perform, accompanied by Jed Wilson and Nancy 3. Hoffman. Admission is $12 for the general public or $8 for students and senior citizens.
The evening will open with Guippi Paone, accompanied by Jed Wilson on piano with a program titled “When Jazz Happens on the Way to the Forum.” They will be followed by Elizabeth Goell, accompanied by Nancy 3. Hoffman on piano with “Tales of a Well Traveled Piano.” Julie Goell and Kathy Slack will perform prior to each set.
The International Voice Seminar takes place today through Sunday at 317 Main Community Music Center in Yarmouth. A free, public showcase of the students’ work will be offered at 7 p.m. Saturday in the cafe at 317 Main Street in Yarmouth.
