Burns is a 2003 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, W.Va., and is currently enrolled in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner/Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist program at Georgia State University. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
Virgili is a 1995 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School in Jefferson, Pa., and a 1999 graduate of Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, Pa. He also graduated in 2005 from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. He is currently a certified nurse anesthetist at Tampa General Hospital.
A June 22, 2013, wedding is planned at the First Parish Church in Brunswick, with a wedding celebration at the Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor.
