BRUNSWICK

A home on Jordan Avenue was burglarized overnight while the residents slept inside.

Sometime between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., the culprit entered the home and stole a purse from a table, and then broke the window of a truck and took a wallet and cellphone, Brunswick Police Lt. Tom Garrepy said today.

The home was unlocked at the time, according to Garrepy.

“We highly recommend that people lock the doors of both their homes and vehicles,” he said.
