The Bath City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in City Hall to consider, among other agenda items, a “draft” written decision and finding of fact for a June decision denying liquor and special amusement licenses to The Black Barnacle Pub.
A superior court judge on June 27 granted a stay to the pub, whose licenses were set to expire that day.
Per the judge’s order, the period of the license now extends until July 21 or until the city issues a written decision on the matter.
Among other agenda items, the council will also:
— Consider approving an order approving a lease for Box 19 at the former Armory building.
— Consider approving an order regarding operations and standards for the former Armory building.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed ordinance continuing a moratorium on socalled “Smart” meters.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed ordinance regarding charges for sewer service.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed ordinance changing general assistance maximums per the state of Maine.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed bond ordinance authorizing issuance of general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $302,000 for the purpose of funding certain vehicles, recreation track and tennis court surface and a gas collection system at the landfill.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed bond ordinance authorizing issuance of general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $651,500 for the purpose of funding Willow Street sanitary sewer and stormwater collection system modifications.
— Hold a public hearing and consider second passage of a proposed bond ordinance reallocating excess bond proceeds from previously issued bonds for the purpose of funding street paving, a public works vehicle and a roof, with a proposed amendment to include fire-gear.
— Discuss a resolution and letter of support for the engineering phase of the Androscoggin River Bicycle and Pedestrian Path.
— Consider acceptance of a drug forfeiture.
— Consider a proposed order approving transfer of the former Donald Small School building to the Bath Development Corp.
— Consider approving a resolution supporting the restoration of the pond in City Park.
— Consider approving an order relating to the Dresden Land Exchange.
