RICHMOND — In non-conference makeup action Wednesday, the Richmond High School softball team closed out the regular season with a 13-4 win over Class C Sacopee Valley.
The Bobcats, who improved to14-1, banged out 15 hits.
Danica Hurley led the way with three singles, a double and two RBIs, while Bri Snedeker had three singles and an RBI, Noell Acord three singles and Jamie Plummer two singles and an RBI.
Leandra Martin took the mound win with a strikeout and two walks, while Ashley Pingree had four strikeuts and two walk for Sacopee Valley (6-10).
Richmond is the top seed in Western Maine Class D, and will host the winner of the Vinalhaven/Greenville contest in the Western D semifinals.
