BRUNSWICK — A fight between two brothers on Thursday afternoon left one in Cumberland County Jail this morning on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Brunswick police responded just after noon Thursday to 13 Hornet St. where a man reported that he and his brother, 21-year-old Joshua Davis, had fought and his brother had threatened him with a kitchen knife, Brunswick Police Lt. Tom Garrepy said today.
The brother also had a visible bite mark on his arm, but denied medical treatment, according to Garrepy.
When Garrepy found Davis outside the home, officers arrested him and transported him to Cumberland County Jail, where he was held on $5,000 cash bail.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
