BOWDOIN — On Saturday night, 48 golfers, armed with pink glow-balls, flashlights and their golf clubs, set out to play a round of golf at the Country Fareways Par-3 Golf Course to raise funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
First place at 4-under was the team of Richard Gower, Linda Gower, Chuck Kelley and Raymond Bishop, while second place at plus-1 went to Carol Thibeault, Pat Doherty, Ray Doherty and Steve Bernier.
Third place at plus-2 was the foursome of Rhonda Cousens, Dick Cousens, Brandon Glazier and Sarah Vakiner.
Ladies closest-to-the-pin on No. 10 was Sarah Vakiner, while men’s closest on No. 7 was Roger Andrews.
