LEWISTON (AP) — Firefighters from at least seven communities helped to put out a pair of fires in Lewiston and Auburn.
The Sun Journal of Lewiston says two fire departments were called to a fire at an Auburn home when Lewiston firefighters were called to a second house fire in that city. The alarms came in Tuesday night and the fires were put out by this morning.
The causes of both fires were under investigation, though officials saw no connection between the two.
Fire officials say there were no serious injuries.
