BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School jayvee baseball team blanked Erskine Academy, 10-0 in six innings on Wednesday.
Brunswick’s bats woke up Wednesday with a seven-run third inning, highlighted by John Parker’s two-run double.
Alex Wear had two hits and three RBIs for the Dragons. Tommy Favreau pitched five innings, giving up only one hit. Ryan Brescia pitched a scoreless sixth inning to close the game.
On Tuesday, Brunswick nipped Lewiston 1-0 in eight innings.
Freshman John Parker threw a complete game, onehitter with 16 strikeouts.
The winning run scored when Ian Burgess was hit by a pitch, advanced to third on sacrifice bunt by Ryan Maciejewski, and scored on Favreau’s infield grounder. en strikeouts.
