GORHAM — Joan O’Neill scored six goals and Bridget Meedzan had three goals and three assists to lead the visiting Bates College Bobcats to 20-9 victory over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in non- conference women’s lacrosse action Sunday afternoon at Hannaford Field.
The Huskies dipped to 5-8 overall. Sophomore Jacki Kelly of Brunswick had two goals and had six draw controls.
Southern Maine travels to Rhode Island College today (6p.m.) for a Little East Conference game.
On Saturday, Kelly scored a game-high six goals to help the USM pull away in the second half for a 16- 9 victory over Western Connecticut State University at Hannaford Field.
Kelly led all scorers with seven points on six goals and one assist, while goalie Kim Vogel played an outstanding game making 15 saves.
