BATH — The Kennebec Art Club seeks participants for its annual “Art in the Park” feature of Heritage Days. During the festival, artists from Maine and elsewhere display their work at City Park.
The net proceeds of “Art in the Park” are used for scholarships distributed to art students from local high schools who plan to attend to college.
This year, “Art in the Park” will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 7 and 8, rain or shine. A $150 “best in show” award will be presented, along with as many as four $75 honorable mentions.
Eligible media include painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, print making and mixed media. A juror for the 2012 show has yet to be named.
