ST. ALBANS (AP) — Authorities say a 5-year-old girl missing in the woods in the central Maine town of St. Albans has been located uninjured.

Maine game wardens and state troopers found Morgan Lawler, who was missing with a family dog behind the family’s residence Monday morning.

A search party including wardens, troopers, two aircraft, and a search dog found Morgan at about 1 p.m. sixtenths of a mile south of the house in the woods .

She was not injured, but was checked by a Sebasticook Valley Ambulance crew. The dog had returned home on its own.
