TOPSHAM — Cello soloist Allison Eldrege will be the featured performer during Midcoast Symphony Orchestra concerts on Saturday in Lewiston and on Sunday in Topsham.
Under the direction of guest conductor Karla Kelley, the orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Franco-American Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St. A second performance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Orion Performing Arts Center at Mt. Ararat Middle School.
The concerts will feature works by Carl Maria von Weber, Victor Herbert and Pyotr Illych Tchaikovsky.
Admission for adults costs $17 at the door. Cash only will be accepted at the door for Saturday’s show.
Advance tickets are available at Gulf of Maine Books on Maine Street in Brunswick and at Now You’re Cooking on Front Street in Bath. Tickets can be ordered by phone at 846-5378 or online at www.midcoastsymphony.org.
Admission is free to concert goers age 18 and younger.
