BRUNSWICK — Several Bowdoin College indoor track and field athletes have qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship scheduled for March 9-10 at Grinnell College in Waverly, Iowa.
The men’s distance medley relay team of Coby Horowitz, Matthew Gamache, Colin Fong and Matthew Hillard qualified and is seeded first in Division III with a time of 9:52.27.
Thewomen’s4x400meter relay team of Emily Clark, Emily Barr, Alee Wade and Elsa Millett also earned qualification with a time of 3:54.52 and is seeded seventh entering the championship.
Individual qualifiers included Millett, who is seeded second in the 400 (56.08), Chantal Croteau in the mile ( 4: 58.69, seeded 12th), Erin Silva in the pole vault ( 11- 11.75, seeded 14th) and Annie Huyler in the pentathlon (3,219 points, seeded 14th).
