BRUNSWICK’S POLICE STATION SUBCOMMITTEE, by a 5-3 vote Tuesday, approved preliminary design plans, shown here, for a proposed police station at the corner of Pleasant and Stanwood streets. Committee members John Donovan and District 2 Councilor Ben Tucker were absent from the meeting. The committee will continue work on the project through March 28, when architect Brett Donham expects to have a final cost estimate for the building, which is expected to cost approximately $5.3 million.
