BRUNSWICK — The Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches and Writers Association (MMBCWA) has named Bowdoin senior forward Will Hanley Player of the Week.
Hanley brought his doubledouble total on the season up to 12 with three more in a 2-1 week for the Polar Bears. The 6-foor-7 forward did a little bit of everything in a non-conference win against UMF, going for 13 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks.
He scored 18 points in a setback to nationally- ranked Amherst, and posted a careerbest six rejections in a triumph over Trinity (Conn.).
In the Maine Coaches weekly poll, Bates (10-6) was first, followed by Bowdoin (11-5), Saint Joseph’s (11-4), UMaine Farmington (9-6) and Thomas (9-6).
