WOOLWICH — Kenneth Paul Cote passed away peacefully, after a long battle with Diabetes. He died at Winship Green Nursing Home, in Bath on January 11, 2012, just six days shy of his eighty-second birthday, January 17, 2012. He was born in Limestone, the youngest of thirteen children, to Eva Theriault Cote, and Alfred Cote. He attended Limestone Schools, later joining the Navy from 1950-1955, serving on the S.S. Worcester. Later he worked for several construction companies working on projects, throughout the state.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Marion “Molly” Sanders Cote, his sisters, Sadie Johndra, Gladys Shaw, Vera Herndon. Brothers, Rueben, Levi ( Steve), Charles, Cecil, Wilfred, Beecher, Chester.
He is survived by brothers, Ernest, of Limestone, and Alfred of California. Also many neices, and nephews. Four special friends, Joanne Rioux, Charlie Springer, Carolyn Kelly, and Joe Pietrowicz. Kenneth appreciated and loved these folks, they were his support system.
A private committal service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, on January 25, 2012, at 2 pm.
