To the editor:

On Friday, Jan. 13, after a hellacious snow, rain, ice and wind storm, we lost power at 2:20 p.m.

Central Maine Power was called to inform them of the outage. CMP was called again after noting a tree on a wire and a transformer hanging from a broken pole. The CMP operator assured us it was just our three residences, and it would be fixed.

Three crews worked until 11: 35 p. m. under the worst conditions imaginable, including very high winds and bitter cold.

Thanks to the devoted workers who gave us our power back.
