PHIPPSBURG — The Regional School Unit 1 board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. today at Phippsburg Elementary School.
Prior to its regular meeting, the board will meet in executive session at 5:15 p.m. to discuss the evaluation of officials, appointees and employees.
The regular meeting agenda includes, among other items, the following:
— Discussion and potential action on school choice transportation
— Election of a board chairman and vice chairman
— Reports from the Woolwich Building Committee, Finance Committee and Policy Committee
— Superintendent’s report
— Gifted and Talented program update
— Second readings of policies regarding agenda format, reporting child abuse and neglect, tax sheltered annuities and budget adoption procedures
— Review of board goals
— Report on personnel items, including the resignations of Morse High School foreign language teacher Betty Lou Moore and Morse High School science teacher Joseph Moore.
