BATH — The Morse High School girls basketball team lost to Winslow 42-33 and fell 46-42 to Maine Central Institute in recent action.
Against Winslow, Morse trailed 13-5, 21-14 and 29-25 at the breaks and was seven of 15 from the line. Winslow was eight of 19.
Leia Graves had 15 points and Megan Hixon eight for Morse, while Paige Martin and Morgan Cram were defensive standouts.
Hannah Doble scored nine points for Winslow.
In the MCI contest on Monday, the Shipbuilders trailed 16-14, 27-24 and 39-34 at the break and were 14 of 23 at the line, while MCI was 11 of 23 from the charity stripe.
Graves had 14 points, Jacelyn McNeill eight, and Sophie Sreden six. Taylor Johnson and Alli Barter played well defensively.
