BAR HARBOR — The Jackson Laboratory will coordinate the Maine State Science Fair, to be held April 30 at Mount Desert Island Regional High School, according to the Maine Department of Education.

The event is free and intended to encourage hands-on participation of science students at 153 public and private high schools across Maine.
