Men’s 4 on 4 basketball league Week 2 results
VTEC hammered Shake N Bake, 128-87. VTEC was never challenged as they raced out to a big halftime lead.
Matt Clement hit for 34 and Gregg Morton nailed 11 3-pointers and finished with 33 for the winners. Joe Downs led Shake N Bake with 32 and Eben Delano had 27.
The Legends cruised past New Era, 122-76. For the second straight game, the Legends as a team hit 24 3 pointers.
Frank Billings continued his hot shooting for the Legends, scoring 32 with 10 3s. CJ Vose led the victors with 38. Mike Wilkins had 25 and Nate King 20 for New Era.
Team Hancock held off a pesky Bus Drivers team, 82-67. Matt Hancock’s clutch foul shooting kept the Bus Drivers at bay.
Hancock finished with 32 and John Kohtala added 23. Scott Walker paced the Bus Drivers with 29 and Tyler Graves had 16.
PBR pulled away in the second half to down Strictly Business, 97-79. Chad Pulkinnen drained eight 3s on his way to a game-high 36, Greg Norton chipped in with 19 for PBR. Bob Davies led five players in double figures with 27 for Strictly Business.
Dream Team rallied late yet again, this time over the Leftovers, 85-78. Ian Hebert led Dream Team with 31 and Seth Farrington added 25. Lincoln Bigelow scored 31 with six 3s and Alan Grady 29 with seven 3s for the Leftovers.
The Leftovers made sure that the week would end on a good note, holding off Run N Gun, 99-92. Jason Thibodeau had 29 and Brian White 26 for the Leftovers. Brandon Mitchell was solid for Run N Gun, scoring 35 and Kevin Lamson had 22. Games are Mondays and Tuesdays, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Men’s 40 and over basketball league getting started
