With spring finally arriving The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber Of Commerce is pleased to invite all to our third Lakes Business Showcase at Lake Region High School.

This event will occur on Saturday April 12 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Lakes Business Showcase is open to all and its intent is to honor all that is good about business in the Lakes Region. There is no charge to attend this event and you will enter to find over 50 businesses presenting themselves to you in fun and educational ways that will make this a great way to learn more about our business community.

Our current list of attendees includes caterers, financial institutions, nonprofits and many other areas that you surely need to know more about. At most any chamber event there are sure to be great door prizes, come on April 12 to try your luck at receiving meal prizes; free Web hosting; a golf package; all kinds of gift certificates-gift baskets and tickets to local events.

Bridgton Hospital again is offering a gift bag for the first 500 who enter and The Naples Lions will be on hand to serve food throughout the day.

The list is long as to who is attending from the business community. Consider this as your chance to chat with businesses like Point Sebago, Loon Echo Land Trust, Hancock Lumber and the towns of both Bridgton and Windham.

A special bonus this year is that we have invited both local political parties to attend and bring their candidates. The Lakes Republican Party will host a booth and many candidates are expected to attend. Who should attend this event? Everyone! Businesses looking to network, locals looking to learn more about the lakes business community and even those of you who like to win prizes.

This is definitely a family friendly activity and handicapped accessible. Throughout the day we will host short presentations featuring businesses on hand, we already know that Western Maine Dance and RELIV will present in this manner for you.

This is your chance to learn more about your community, it is free and you could win great prizes. I bet most booths will even have candy on their tables!
