To be too busy with one’s own life/family is understandable; finances, bills, kid’s education, housing, etc.

But one must make time to be current and knowledgeable throughout the year on government and the people involved and the newcomers to make the best possible selection in voting people in office at the proper time.

It is very defeating in our own interest to select the wrong people.

One must not wait until the television debates to make a selection.

These debates are very much loaded with ambiguities, implications, accusations, taken out of context, quarter, half truths and lies, these TV debates are the worst possible information outputs to make one’s decision.

We must be informed throughout the year, with everyone’s record of achievement, though newspapers, TV information programs, magazines, books, commentaries and radio.

Whatever means it takes, and one can never take at face value what is being presented, but must screen it, read between the lines, read what is not being said, talk with each other – sort things out.

Freedom is not voted for every four years.
