Windham’s first high school was built in 1910 for less than $10,000. Dozens of schools have come and gone since then, but this building still stands strong and is now the town hall. Additions were made to the front and a gymnasium was added to the back, but the core building can still be recognized. Old timers will recall sitting on the front steps, posing for class pictures and playing ball on the front lawn. Whoever the builder was, he did a great job!
