Organizers of a benefit dinner and auction next weekend in Naples hope to raise $20,000 toward the medical bills for Brian Penpraese, who suffered a serious blow to the head on Nov. 4 while removing a dock for the winter at his home in Naples.
The spaghetti dinner is being held Saturday, Jan. 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Shakers function hall on Route 11 in Naples. The silent auction runs from 5-6 p.m. and a live auction begins at 6:30 p.m.
Items include ski passes, pontoon boat rental, a baseball signed by Cal Ripken, four hours of electrical work and an L.L. Bean toboggan. Admission is $12 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. For more information, call Stuart Leckie at 693-3918.
Brian Penpraese has been the Sous Chef at Sidney’s restaurant in Naples for the past 14 years and has a wife, Melissa, and a 12-year old son named Dalton.
