Kids were allowed to check out vehicles used by public safety workers in the area, and learned a bit about what police and fire fighters, diving teams and other officials do to keep the community safe.

Hunter

Four-year-old Hunter Hills of Casco wore his own fire gear to Saturday’s Public Safety Day in Casco. According to his mom Jennifer, Hunter already dream of being a firefighter when he grows up.

Morgan

Peyton & Gib

From the left, Peyton and Gib Klein, of Casco, attended Public Safety Day at the Casco Public Safety Building together last Saturday. Three-year-old Peyton kept busy by going from one fire engine to the next. Small children, like Peyton, could also have car seats checked by Maine Safe, to make sure they were installed properly and that kids were buckled correctly.
