Nov. 8, 2006 – Coreen Wiese, 15, boards school bus at 7 a.m. at home on Henry Hill Road for Bonny Eagle High School. Last seen that day near Limington Rapids on Route 25. Marked absent in classes all day, doesn’t return home on late bus at 4:45 p.m. Mother Cindy Wiese calls Buxton police after trying to call daughter and contacting friends. Buxton police begin search.
Nov. 9 – Warden Service joins search at noon. Warden Service command post arrives at BEHS at 8 p.m.
Nov. 10 – Intense ground, air and river search launched. Wiese’s cell phone and iPod found near bridge along with message on beams under bridge.
Nov. 11 – Parents issue plea for daughter’s return.
Nov. 16 – FBI joins investigation.
Nov. 17 – FBI establishes Buxton command post.
May 8, 2007 – Six-month candlelight vigil at BEMS.
May 11 – Teenagers find body in Saco River about 6 miles down stream from the Limington Rapids bridge over river on Route 25. Body brought to State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
May 15 – Body positively identified as Coreen Wiese.
