Department of the Army Civilian Rodney P. Berry, a 1976 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, participated in supporting the efforts for the 2007 All-American Bowl all-star high school football game played at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas.

Berry is the son of Judith Emmons, of Hollis Center.

The U.S. Army-sponsored event brought in the best football talent from across the nation in an East versus West contest in front of a nationally televised audience. The Army supported many of the pre-game activities, as well as events that honored both the players and the soldier-heroes during the week leading up to the game.

Berry is the strategic outreach director assigned to the U.S. Army Accessions Command at Fort Monroe, Hampton, Va. He has 30 years of military service.
