Loren Hawkes and his family lived in this fine old Windham home on Route 202 in the village of Windham Center. Taken about 1900, the photo clearly shows the dirt road (now Route 202). According to information on the back of the photo, Mr. Hawkes owned the place until about 1906. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Badger also lived here for more than 50 years.
