Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 280 Ocean House Road, will hold Christmas Eve services at 6 p.m., with an emphasis for families, including a Christmas pageant with a message from Gabriel and a focus on peace on earth.

A service at 11 p.m. will be more traditional, with carols, communion, candlelight and a slide presentation and meditation on “Silent Night.”

There will be a regular 10 a.m. service on Christmas Eve morning, but there will not be an 8:15 a.m. service.
